About Us

Hello all, my name is Doug. The owner and sole baker of CHIPP’T. I am a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America the premier school for culinary arts and baking. I have been in the foodservice industry for over 10 years now at various locations throughout Long Island. I currently work now as a chef for Northwell Health at North Shore University Hospital.

I always had an eye for baking although it’s not what I traditionally went to school for. Throughout my career I have learned the skill of baking from many pastry chefs and bakers along with teaching myself a thing or two.

Cookies have always been one of my favorite desserts and snacks. As a young kid I would always help my mom and grandmother at Christmas time baking traditional holiday cookies and cookies is why I am here today to bring you CHIPP’T Cookie Co.

CHIPP’T was created during the quarantine of 2020. It was at this time that I realized I wanted to make a dream of mine come true by starting and owning a business. So I decided to take my skills and knowledge and create tasteful cookies for everyone to enjoy just as much as I do.

As a culinary professional I am and always will be one hundred percent about the product and giving the best product for my customers. You the customer are the most important part of my business and I as the owner will do anything and everything to make sure that you are satisfied and with the best product possible.
